Painting at San Clemente Dam
This is a painting in process of the San Clemente dam that will be taken down next year, thus allowing the Carmel River to flow unimpeded for the first time since the dam was built in 1921. Earlier this year I painted the process of the excavation of the mountain to make way for the Carmel River to flow into the San Clemente Creek Drainage. I will be painting other aspects of the process of the dam removal as it takes place next year.
