The above painting, Carmel River at Danish Creek was in the juried Central Coast Landscapes: Celebrating Nature in Painting show at the Pacific Grove Natural History Museum which ran from January, 2014 through April 5, 2014. A panel of five jurors, including Scott Shields, Associate Director and Chief Curator of the Crocker Art Museum in Sacramento, selected forty works from over 200 paintings and seventy-five artists. This painting was created by hiking one hour beyond the Los Padres Dam two times in order to complete it.
